Ford Transit first stood on its own wheels in 1953 and started a whole new era in European delivery truck market. In one of my favourite TV shows it was said that this car was criminal’s favourite getaway car which in my opinion makes the car very reliable. When a greengrocery or milkman’s car breaks down nothing actually happens but when bank robbers have problems with their getaway car that is a whole different story. Apart from mobsters also all the usual delivery car users find these used vans extraordinary. Ford gives a variety of different versions. You can get a traditional van, pickup or a minibus version with front, back or even four wheel drive. Of course the options of the car personalisation are almost limitless depending on the client’s needs and wallet. With 5 million cars sold, numerous awards won (”Van of the Year 2001″, “Van of the Year 2007″ and many more) it is definitely a good choice for all the demanding users.
